On chilly mornings a log fire blazes in our feature Lakeland slate fireplace, and the early morning sun streams in through the large bay window. In more clement weather the French doors are opened.
Our award winning breakfast is served in the Breakfast room from continental to the favourite full English, cooked with our classic Aga oven.
Where possible, our products are sourced locally and include award winning bacon and thin cut Cumberland sausage from Hutchinson’s of Coniston, local free-range eggs from Hawkshead Hill Farm, Hawkshead Relish and Jams and home-made bread.
